5-week yoga reset!
Autumn reset sessions: a 5-week yoga, breath and meditation practice
During October, I'm trialling two new classes at the Luton Irish Forum Centre. This 5-week series we'll take our practice a little deeper as we explore all eight limbs of hatha yoga. I'll also introduce you to kundalini yoga as we begin our preparation for the winter months ahead.
Don't worry if you can't make all five sessions as I've built the course to allow you to jump in and out or immerse yourself with all five. I'll repeat each weekly afternoon class in the evening.
Every Thursday starting 1st October.
1-2pm pay in person (£5 for Irish Forum members;);
6.30pm to 7.30pm pay online.
Maximum 12 people.
Cost: £7 per class (booking only available online). Are you in?
Classical hatha
'Yoga allows you to find an inner
peace that is not ruffled and riled
by the endless stresses and
struggles of life.'
BKS Iyengar
Classical hatha is more than just a physical exercise. A classical yoga class aims to unite the body with the mind and soul. We achieve this with physical asanas (exercises), pranayam (breath) and meditation.

Kundalini yoga
'There is something more in Kundalini Yoga than the
exercises you do. It is the flow
of energy, it is the power,
it is the excellence.'
Yogi Bhajan
Kundalini yoga is known as the yoga of awareness. It transforms and expands your consciousness. Classes include kriyas
(a series of physical exercises that focus on
a particular theme), pranayam, mantra, meditation and relaxation. Patsy often draws on this powerfully reflective yoga practise in her weekly classes. If you'd like to explore this yoga form more fully join a retreat.
